BOOKING AND PAYMENT:
Booking is made when 30% of the total cost is received. An email is then sent for booking confirmation. Payment must be made in full at the latest 2 months prior to the date of arrival.
Should you have to cancel, it is in your best interest to give us as much notice as possible so that we are given the opportunity to re-let the period booked by you. The income for any period re-let will be refunded to you, minus any possible bank transfer fees. In case we cannot re-let, there will be no refund, whatever the reason is. We strongly encourage you to take a travel insurance which may cover you in case of unforeseen events.
In case of pandemics, there will be no refund. You will be given a voucher (equivalent of the amount paid), to be used within 18 months subject to availability. Please note however that daily rates are seasonal and may then be different from your original rates.
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE:
Unless previous arrangements made, arrival must be done between 2PM and 6PM the day of arrival. Departure must be prior to 10AM on the day of departure.
The number of guests accommodated in the apartment may not exceed the number agreed at the time of the booking. We reserve the right to refuse admittance or terminate a booking if this condition is not observed or for other reasonable cause.
SERVICES AND CHARGES:
Price includes water, electricity as well as all equipment listed on our website.
It includes also:
- Cleaning of the apartment from Monday to Saturday. Unless mentioned differently, no service on sundays and public holidays.
- Bathroom linen and sheets. No beach towels.
- In each apartment, a safe and an alarm.
It does not include any consumables such as soap, bin bags, toilet papers, washing products oil etc.
A cook may be available at extra cost. To be arranged on site.
We will request a RS1000 security deposit for the use of remote control for the main gate (request to be made to the manager on site).
If you do not have a car you can access by the smaller gate with a key.
Any breakage or damage of furniture or items will be charged.
We will not be liable for any loss or damage of any kind. Please arrange your own personal belongings' insurance.
We request our guests to be responsible in their use of air conditioning. Using air-conditioning 24hrs a day with open windows for example is not only inefficient but also costly and environmentally unfriendly. We ask you to use it only when you are in the apartment and windows and doors are closed. Shall we find that Air Cond is not being used appropriately, an extra cost of 4000Rs a day will be charged.
The use of the accommodation, private car park and amenities is entirely at the user's risk and no responsibility can be accepted for injury or for loss or damage to the Hirer’s/Users or any visitor's belongings or vehicles.
In order to keep our resort a peaceful place, we ask you to respect the calm and privacy of other guests. Large friends and family gatherings are not authorised and we ask you to restrain from being too noisy.
Similarly, there is one car park per apartment so please do not use an extra car park unless previously arranged with Alexandra Maujean.
